Day 01: Arrive at base camp Chhetti Village

Day 02: Trek from Manali to Lama Dugh

Altitude: 10040 ft.
Trek distance: 7-8 kms
Trek Duration: 5-6 hrs

  • Begin your journey with a scenic drive from the Chhetti village to the starting point of the Lamadugh Trek in Manali.
  • Arrive at the starting point of the Lamadugh Trek and commence the uphill journey.
  • Enjoy captivating vistas of Indrasan, Deo Tibba, and the peaks of Bara Shigri Glacier along the ascent.
  • Traverse a ridge on the final stretch, granting access to the High Altitude Meadow.
  • Spend the night in tents, nestled amidst the tranquil surroundings.
Day 03: Trek from Lama Dugh to Rani Sui Lake to Duddu Thatch

Trek distance: 10-11 kms
Trek Duration: 8-9 hrs

  • Begin the day’s walk, with the terrain gradually becoming steeper after about a kilometer.
  • Arrive at Rani Sui Lake after a few hours, offering stunning views of Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar Ranges.
  • Take some time to soak in the scenery before descending to Duddu Thatch.
  • Traverse through meadows and forests of pine, maple, horse chestnut, and walnut.
  • Overnight stay in tents at Duddu Thatch.
Day 04: Trek back from Duddu Thatch to Khaniyal to Manali
