Overview
Beas Kund is a tarn high altitude lake situated at 12300 feet. Beas Kund is a origin of Beas river. Beas Rishi did meditation here. It is a holy lake.

Beas Kund Trek is one the most beautiful treks in the Himachal. The ancient Indians called the Beas River as Vipas or Arjiki while the ancient Greeks called it as Hyphasis. The current name Beas is regarded as formed from Vyas who is the author of Mahabharata, the great Indian epic, however some scholars in Himachal Pradesh call this river as Vipasha. Beas Kund – Beas so named after Rishi (Sage) Beas and Kund is hindi word for tiny lake. This tiny lake of Beas Kund situated at higher and upper valley of Solang. Which is the heart of winter and summer games in Manali.
Tour Itinerary
Arrival Manali, after lunch accmatitization walk to Hadima temple . Evening trip planning overnigh stay at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Manali to Solang by taxi . Solang to Dhundhi by roade 4 hour trak . Dhundhi is very beautiful place. Evening after tea accmalitization walk. Stay at tents.
Dhundhi to Bakarthach (10800 feet) 6 hour trek on the way you can see lots off grassy pasture like Palchani Thach, river crossing on the way, flora and fauna , magnificent view of Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar range. This is base camp for all mountaineer , trekker . Bakarthach means grassy patch for animal to grazing . Stay at tent.
Bakarthach to Beas Kund(12300feet) with pack lunch, evening we will come back from Beas kund. Its 7 hours trek . During trekking time you can see Hanumaan tibba , friendship peak , Sheti dhar , Rocky challenge peak . Overnight stay at tent Bakarthach.
Bakarthach to Dhundhi (4 hours trek) From solang you will get texi to Manali . Stay at hotel.
Shopping day before 4 pm time to catch the bus and say bye bye to Manali With smile.
